These burgers are thick, crispy, flavourful and filling.

Mash Chickpeas and Black Beans together.
Add Chopped Vegetables and Spices.
Mix together (I prefer to use my hands to make sure all is mixed together well).
Mould your patties according to preferred size and thickness.
Heat your coconut oil in a non-stick pan.
Preheat your over on 180 degrees celsius.
Fry your patties for 10 minutes on each side.

Transfer to oven tray and bake for 30 mins on each side until brown and crispy ( we prefer them super crispy and almost black on the outside).
Add to fresh rolls and enjoy plain or with some tomato chutney ( see recipe on this page) and Enjoy!
P.S. These freeze really well, so make extra if you have the time. You can then heat from Frozen.
